1.
Wash the hair with an ordinary shampoo, then dry it with a towel.
Massage a good portion of balsam into the damp hair.
Comb the hair with an ordinary comb.

Hold the Xlice fine-tooth comb so that the slanted ends of the teeth slide over the scalp.
Be systematic. The comb should reach right down to the scalp each time because that it is where the head lice are to be found. Comb at an angle to the scalp as shown in the illustration.

3.
You should comb from the scalp right through to the end of the strands of hair in a long stroke.
Part the hair into sections and hold it in place with hairpins so that you can comb one section at a time.
